Property developer Sheasham won the prestigious Construction and Property Award, sponsored by Mimosa Mining Company at the Great Dyke Awards held in Zvishavane recently, in recognition of its contribution to housing development in the Midlands Province.
Sheasham beat JM Construction, which came in as first runner-up, and Barmlo, the second runner-up.
Speaking after receiving the award, Sheasham Group Marketing Manager Rodwell Chikoto said the honour came at a special moment as the company celebrates its 10th anniversary.
“We feel greatly honoured to receive this award as we celebrate a decade of impact in the Midlands Province, where we have developed 12,000 housing units in Gweru, Shurugwi and Redcliff,” Chikoto said.
The award highlights Sheasham’s growing footprint in the construction and property sector, and its role in addressing housing needs in the region.
