Stakeholders within the diamond value chain are today meeting in the mountainous city of Mutare for an indaba that is expected to deliberate on measures expected to grow the sector to the set target of $1 billion dollars by 2023.
The indaba which is being held for the 4th time has broadened its focus from security to an all-inclusive discussion on the entire diamond value chain that includes issues on production, marketing, and beneficiation.
Security experts, Chiefs, civil society organizations, government officials are expected to attend the indaba.
