Police in Ruwa are actively investigating a distressing murder that took place on 27th of November at a residence in Solomio Park.
The incident involved a 16-year-old male juvenile who, following an undisclosed altercation, fatally stabbed Theionvus Mhungira (19) using a kitchen knife, striking him in the neck.
In a separate but equally disturbing case, the police in Gokwe apprehended Mavis Murungwa (63) in connection with a murder at Mabhiza Village, Chireya, on the 26th of November. The victim, her husband Tinaye Goka (63), lost his life following a violent confrontation.
The Police indicated that during a domestic dispute, the suspect and her 16-year-old granddaughter mercilessly attacked the victim, repeatedly striking him all over the body with a log and a cooking stick.
The altercation reportedly stemmed from the victim’s destruction of kitchen utensils and a goat pen, which had been constructed by the suspect.
Tragically, the lifeless body of the victim was discovered near a borehole on the 27th of November.
