” We postponed the event because there was nowhere the president could attend both the burial and the official opening of our event since he is our guest of honor,” said Takavarasha.

According to Takavarasha, the event is meant to gather together miners and stakeholders to align artisanal and small scale miners in the mainstream economy.

“The core of this event is designed to strategically gather together the artisanal, small scale miners, large scale miners, and key stakeholders to meet and connect with investors, service providers, stakeholders and policymakers and holistically align the artisanal and small scale miners in the mainstream economy in a most sustainable and rational manner,” he said.
