There are 4,988,994 cases of the Coronavirus, with 94,813 new cases recorded yesterday. 1,956,361 cases have been reported to have been recovered worldwide.
The USA recorded the highest number of new cases of 20, 289 and Brazil recorded the second highest number with 17,408.Â
The country reported 17,408 new cases and 1,179 new deaths — its largest one-day jump since the pandemic began.Â
South Africa continue to witness a decline in the number of new cases from 918 on the 18th of May to 767 recorded cases yesterday, which brings the total number of cases in South Africa to 17, 200. A total of 488, 609 tests have been conducted around the country.
Zimbabwe statistics remain unchanged at 46 cases and 18 recoveries after 31,589 tests have been conducted to date.

Kids who may have multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children, or MIS-C, a troubling complication of Covid-19 infection, need immediate attention and will probably need to be hospitalized, doctors said Tuesday.Â
It’s becoming clear that many of the children with the new syndrome have damage to their hearts and need immediate treatment, the doctors said during a meeting organized by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
