Government Intensifies Cattle Dipping Enforcement Against Tick-Borne Diseases

In a bid to curb the prevalence of tick-borne diseases, the Government has taken a strict stance on cattle dipping. The Cattle Cleansing Regulations of 1993 will be rigorously enforced, with non-compliant farmers facing arrest.
Animal Health Expert and Veterinary Officer Dr Martin Sibanda, in an exclusive interview with the Great Dyke News, stressed the necessity of regular cattle dipping to safeguard livestock health.
