Gweru’s Ward 16 Councillor, Philmon Mawere, has revealed plans to build a clinic and a school in the Mkoba area as part of efforts to improve access to essential services.

Speaking at a Vendors Initiative for Socio-Economic Transformation (VISET) interface meeting in Gweru, Mawere confirmed that these developments have been included in the city’s 2025 budget, ensuring that all necessary resources will be allocated to the projects.

Mawere emphasized, noted that the efforts are aimed at alleviating the pressure on existing facility

These projects are set to bring significant relief to the residents of Mkoba, improving both healthcare and educational outcomes in the region.
