A contentious mine dispute has taken an unsettling turn as allegations of equipment vandalism, involving the Zvishavane Deputy Sheriff, police personnel, and local villagers aligned with the opposing party, surface from Clifton 15 Mine in Mberengwa. Ronald Mugangavari, a miner embroiled in the disagreement, insists that the dispute lacks grounds, pointing to official documentation that signifies the existence of distinct mines.
Mugangavari, told Great Dyke News that the documentation clearly delineates two separate mining entities. Displaying supporting paperwork to bolster his assertion, he contends that the opposing party’s claims pertain to an entirely different mine.
