The Passengers Association of Zimbabwe (PAZ) has extended its heartfelt condolences following the tragic accident that claimed 24 lives on the Beitbridge-Masvingo highway yesterday morning. The collision occurred when an Urban Connect bus collided head-on with a Chirundu-bound commercial truck at the Lutumba tollgate.
PAZ National Coordinator ,Mr. Tafadzwa Goliati, expressed deep sorrow over the loss, emphasizing the association’s support for the grieving families.
Witnesses at the scene described a horrific scene, with 17 people dying instantly and seven others succumbing to head injuries after being rushed to the hospital.
