In the grand setting of the 16th Edition of the Sanganai/Hlanganani World Tourism Expo, a beacon of the Great Dyke’s Business and Recreational sector, Palawani Lakeworld Resort, is taking center stage. For Palawani this renowned event has become a cornerstone for showcasing the wealth of opportunities and natural splendor nestled within the Great Dyke region.

Bright Manwere, Sales and Marketing Manager for Palawani Lakeworld Resort, shared their mission in an exclusive conversation with Great Dyke News. The resort, he said, carries the message of the region’s remarkable beauty and the multitude of opportunities that await exploration.

He indicated that their participation in this year’s edition is driven by the aspiration to engage with travel agencies from across the nation, the region, and beyond. Their aim being to enlighten these agencies about the treasures of the Great Dyke and, more specifically, Palawani’s seven-star activities.

Manuwere said an enticing point of interest so far has been the Boterekwa, which many are keen to know about.

Palawani Lakeworld Resort is not just a participant in the expo but a key player in the upcoming Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke. The cycling event mirrors the spirit of the Sanganai/Hlanganani Expo, highlighting the diverse tourism offerings Zimbabwe has to offer. It provides a platform to showcase the vast opportunities that lie within the Great Dyke Region, primarily through wellness activities, cycling, and, significantly, contributing to the Gifted Children Foundation. This foundation offers gifted but underprivileged students in the Great Dyke region an opportunity to pursue academics.
