Shurugwi Stabbing: Man Dies after Refusing to Buy Beer.

A 38-year-old man, Bright Miti, died upon arrival at Shurugwi District Hospital after being stabbed with a Columbian knife at Peak Mine Compound on February 13.


Police report that Miti and his friend, Tapfuma Ncube (35), were walking from Bonza Mine when they encountered three men who demanded they buy them drinks.



A dispute broke out, and one of the assailants stabbed Miti behind the left knee. Ncube managed to escape.
Miti was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. Police are appealing for information to help arrest the suspects.
