Young artist born Mukombe Mupelo Herman has received an educational scholarship from President Emmerson Mnangagwa that will take him through to University level.
According to the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Nick Mangwana, this was revealed at the State House where the 12 year old artist performed at the Children’s Independence Party hosted by President Mnangagwa.
“Congratulations to young musician Herman Makombe who has received an educational scholarship from @edmnangagwa that will take him all the way including through University level. Herman performed at the Children’s Independence Party at State House,” he said.
Herman is a Zimbabwean musician who became a household name after his debut song Zvandofarira became a hit.
He was born on 3 August 2008 to Mugeni Mukunda and Ebondo Kitunda .
