Green Fuel coach Rodwell Dhlakama has praised Norman Mapeza’s team after they lost to FC Platinum at the weekend. They lost 0-1 to the champions.
Since his joining Green Fuel Dhlakama had rejuvenated the newbies and are playing some fantastic brand of football. In the six games he had presided over the astute gaffer had won twice, drawn twice and lost once. So the loss to the champions is his second.
Last week he shocked all and sundry after his team held the mighty Highlanders to a 1-1 stalemate at Barbourfields Stadium. However, against the champions, he came unstuck, as the champions brushed past him
“I think FC Platinum played very well in the first half. They were better on transitions, first on the mark, first to secure the first ball as well as the second ball.
So this one is now water under the bridge,” Dhlakama said.
The gaffer conceded defeat and said they are now going back to the drawing board to plan for their next encounter..
