The Zimbabwe Republic Police are actively searching for two men, identified as Terry and Cephas, in connection with the murder of 28-year-old Bothwell Sibanda. Sibanda died at Gweru Provincial Hospital after being discovered injured at Mkoba 16 Business Centre on October 26, 2024, around 1:50 AM.
According to ZRP Midlands spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko, Sibanda was drinking at Bvudzijena Night Club when he had a dispute with the two men.
Inspector Mahoko said after leaving the club at approximately 1:45 AM, he was followed by Terry and Cephas, and shortly thereafter, he was found lying outside with a deep cut on his right knee.
He indicated that emergency services were called to the scene, and Sibanda was transported to Gweru Provincial Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The police are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of Terry and Cephas to contact their nearest police station.
