In Zvishavane, health authorities have confirmed a case of cholera in the district, they say the patient was admitted last Sunday.

Environmental Health Technician Patrick Mavhusa, in an interview with Great Dyke News, confirmed that Zvishavane District currently has one documented case, and the individual was admitted to the hospital on Sunday.

Mavhusa emphasized that various measures are being implemented to raise awareness about the situation. He said the Civil Protection Unit is actively convening regularly to strategize on the best way forward, given that this is an evolving situation.
