The Ministry of Health and Childcare revealed that as at 09June 2021, Zimbabwe recorded 39 432 confirmed cases, including 36 917 recoveries and 1 622 deaths.
According to the Ministry, the new cases were local .
“ Five deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours, 7 day rolling average for new cases rises to 57 today from 46 recorded yesterday.
“ There has been an increase in cases over the last seven days with the highest peak of 111 cases reported today,” said the Ministry.
To date, a total of 689 920 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
