Shurugwi Residents Alarmed by Illegal Mining in Residential Areas.

The Shurugwi Residents and Rate Payers Association has voiced serious concerns over illegal mining activities taking place in residential areas, warning that these operations pose a significant risk to human life.


Speaking to Great Dyke News, the Association’s Executive Director, Mr. Machocho, said the situation has reached a critical point and called on authorities and the government to take immediate action.



He highlighted that the Impali area has been the most affected by these dangerous activities.
