The eagerly awaited Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke is about to close its registration window today, October 30th, 2023, at the close of business, as the event gears up for its commencement on November 2, 2023, at Zimplats in Selous.
Gabriel Choga, the Event Director of Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke, stressed that the impending closure of registration today will enable the finalization of critical logistical arrangements. He urged all cycling enthusiasts to make the most of the remaining hours to enroll in this premier cycling event.
The registration process for the tour is conveniently available online through the portal https://tourdegreatDyke.com, which also provides comprehensive information and updates about the 320-kilometer, three-day cycling adventure.
The tour’s itinerary commences at Zimplats, guiding cyclists through three cities and three towns. The journey includes passages through Chegutu and Kadoma before cyclists rest for the night in Kwekwe today. Friday marks the continuation of the tour, leading the cyclists through Gweru and concluding in Shurugwi for another overnight stay. The final leg takes the cyclists from Shurugwi to Zvishavane, where a medal ceremony is scheduled.
Notably, there are planned pit stops and activations in Chegutu, Kadoma, Kwekwe, and Gweru, organized by YAFM, to engage sponsors and other stakeholders.
The 2023 edition proudly bears the title sponsorship of Nedbank, with additional support from valued partners, including Cimas, Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe, Econet Wireless, Simbisa Brands, Exide Batteries, Sterling Hotels, Dandemutande, Pote Holdings, and the Midlands State University.
