The Zimbabwe Republic Police has launched an investigation into a harrowing armed robbery incident that unfolded on the 24th of October, 2023, at approximately 19:30 hours. The targeted location was a residence situated in Mashuma, Kadoma.
During the incident, three unidentified suspects initiated a violent attack on three victims, putting them through a traumatic ordeal. The assailants further exacerbated the situation by releasing tear gas within the house, causing disarray and panic among the victims.
The motives behind the attack were evidently financial, as the suspects made off with a substantial sum of US$10,500.00 in cash. In addition to the cash theft, the perpetrators also seized three cellphones and various items of jewelry.
This audacious and distressing event has sent shockwaves through the community, prompting a swift response from the Zimbabwe Republic Police. Law enforcement agencies are now diligently working to apprehend the suspects and recover the stolen items.
