In the last five years, Zimbabwe has made substantial progress in setting up, modernizing, and expanding its infrastructure, including significant energy and transport projects, with crucial support from the People’s Republic of China.
This was said by President Emerson Mnangagwa at the ZANU PF 20th Peoples National Conference, he highlighted the remarkable strides Zimbabwe has taken in infrastructure development during the past five years. Notable achievements include the successful completion of Hwange 7&8, adding 600 MW to the country's power capacity. The government is committed to continuing its efforts to enhance energy infrastructure and support industrial growth, thanks to the invaluable partnership with China. The President highlighted that it is important to sharpen the countrys strategies modernize the administrative and mobilization strategies.
