“We have observed that there is an information gap in the current vaccination roll-out programme, so we have invited government officials and medical experts to explain the programme and address concerns that communities may have.

“Europe and other parts of the world have already entered the third wave and with winter fast approaching, citizens need validated information to make the right choices now, instead of depending on scientifically unsound opinions. So we want the science to speak for itself, that why we have a panel top heavy with medical scientists,” he said.

Chief coordinator national covid-19 response Dr Agnes Mahomva is the guest of honour while other medical experts including Midlands Provincial Medical Director Dr. Reginald Mhene and Midlands State University medical expert Dr Wilson Mupariwa will be part of the panel.

Midlands Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Senator Larry Mavhima has also confirmed his participation in the virtual conference.
