In a tragic incident reported by the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) on February 11, 2024, two male juveniles, aged eight and nine, lost their lives in a drowning accident at Peter Dam in Mt Hampden.
According to ZRP, the two victims had initially been left in the care of their mother to play at a residence. However, it is alleged that they later ventured to the dam, where the unfortunate incident occurred, resulting in their untimely demise.
The circumstances surrounding the tragedy are currently under investigation.
